Graduate Project Manager M&E – Warrington - £30,000

I am recruiting for a Graduate Project Manager from a M&E background to join an ever growing North West based fit out contractor. My client are cover fast track retail fit out projects on a nationwide basis.

You will be taught how to control the M&E elements of fast track fit outs and refurbishments. Projects will range in value from £500,000 - £2,500,000 and with average job value circa £750,000. You will assist sites simultaneously, taught how to create your own programmes for site using Microsoft project and shadow an experienced M&E Project Manager.

My client are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join them on a permanent basis and can offer a clear progression and development path. They have a full order book for the next 20 months and are sourcing this individual due to continued growth.


You will assist the Project Manager with the following key responsibilities.


• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing clear direction and guidance to the project team.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
• Monitor project financials, including budget allocation, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the project team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications And Skills
• HNC In Building Management (ideally)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
